Intraoral Scanner Workshop

COURSE OUTLINE: This hands-on workshop will introduce you to the world of Intra Oral Scanners. Topics covered in a short introductory presentation include: Trends in Digital Impression taking, Pros of taking impressions digitally, The Patient Experience and the Digital Workflow. A live demonstration will follow featuring two industry leading scanners: The 3Shape Trios3 and iTero Element. 

Attendees will then be given a chance to try all three scanners with guidance from the instructors.  

Mitchell Jenkins grew up in Eastern Passage, Nova Scotia and graduated with a Bachelor of Business Management from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. 

Mitchell moved to Calgary, Alberta when he was given the opportunity to work with the Aurum Group in 2013. Lately his focus has been on the Intra Oral Scanner segment of the dental industry in which he has travelled to 3Shape North America in New Jersey for training on their latest scanner – The Trios 3. 

Mitchell has also been extensively trained on the iTero Element and the Condor Scanner by Biotech Dental. After receiving training, Mitchell has gone to trade shows and dental offices across North America to demonstrate how intra oral scanners can significantly improve dental practices.
